FTV Properties Ltd · Effective 2 October 2026
FTV Properties Ltd ("FTV", "we") finds homes for film and television productions in Northern Ireland. This policy explains what personal information we hold, why we hold it and what you can do about it. It covers our website, www.ftvproperties.com, our work with productions and homeowners, and the FTV app our staff use.
FTV Properties Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us at info@ftvproperties.com.
Our website
Cookies and analytics
The first time you visit, the website asks whether you accept cookies. If you accept, cookies are used to measure how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how people find it, so we can improve it. If you decline, those cookies are not set. Cookies that the site needs to work may still be used. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.
Hosting
The website is built and hosted with GoDaddy. Like any web host, GoDaddy processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure. See GoDaddy's privacy policy at godaddy.com/legal/agreements/privacy-policy.
Emailing us
The website has no forms. If you email us at production@, homes@ or info@ftvproperties.com, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use them to reply and to deal with your enquiry.
Working with us
When we place a production in a home, we keep the records needed to do that, including:
• Homeowners: name, contact details, property details, availability, prices agreed and the payment details we need to pay you.
• Productions and their contacts: company, contact names and details, billing information and the stays we arrange.
• Guests: the name of the person staying, their dates and any requirements the production passes to us, such as parking or accessibility needs.
• Cleaners and other service providers: name, contact details and the work arranged.
We use this information to arrange and manage stays, pay homeowners, invoice productions and keep the business records the law requires. This is necessary for our contracts with you or with the production you work for, and it is in our legitimate interest to run the business. We share it only where the work requires, for example telling a cleaner which property to visit or a production when its guest can check in, and with our accountants and professional advisers. We do not sell personal information.
Our records are stored in Microsoft 365 (OneDrive and email). We keep them for as long as we need them for these purposes, and for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
The FTV app
The FTV app is an internal mobile phone app for FTV staff only. It reads and updates the records described above in FTV's own OneDrive, and you cannot open them without an FTV Microsoft account.
• No tracking. The app contains no advertising, analytics or third-party crash reporting.
• Microsoft. Sign-in and record storage use FTV's Microsoft 365 account, covered by Microsoft's privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com.
• Trello (optional). If staff enter a Trello key, the app copies tasks from FTV's Trello board once. It never writes to Trello.
• On the phone. A copy of recently viewed records, changes waiting to be sent and a log of who changed what are kept in the app's private storage and protected by iOS data protection. Sign-in tokens are kept in the iOS keychain. Reminders are scheduled on the phone itself. Deleting the app removes all of these from the phone.
• Face ID. The app can ask for Face ID or the phone's passcode before opening. iOS performs the check, and the app never receives face or passcode data.
• Sample data. The app's sample data is invented. It stays on the phone and is never sent anywhere.
• Calls, emails and sharing. Tapping a phone number or email address opens the phone's own Phone or Mail app. Records are shared only when staff tap Share and choose where they go.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Where we rely on your consent, such as for analytics cookies, you can withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email info@ftvproperties.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
Our website and app are not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here with a new effective date.
